The Hydraulic and Pneumatic Export Cluster (HAPEC) has the objective to strengthen local manufacturing companies with their exports. The aim for the hydraulic and pneumatic industry is to grow its presence mainly into Africa and the Americas. Through support from The dti, the cluster is looking for suitable government levers to support the local manufacturers.

The Valve and Actuator Manufacturers Cluster of South Africa (VAMCOSA) focus is to bring local manufacturers together in order to create a common focus and goal for the respective industries. VAMCOSA provides an effective platform to lobby government through designated channels of The dti and the SACEEC with regard to industry specific concerns.
